Isaiah Owens Funeral Services … Where beauty softens your grief.
If you’re suffering from the loss of a love one, please know that
the Owens family and all of our staff wish to offer you our sympathy and
our care.
The New York Times has called Isaiah Owens “the most artful undertaker
in Harlem.” He is also an ordained Baptist minister, yet Isaiah
knew at a very young age that the funeral care would be his “true
calling” in life. For over 30 years, Isaiah Owens Funeral Home has
provided care and comfort to families in Harlem and throughout the tri-state
area. A second funeral home was established in Mr. Owens’ hometown
of Branchville, South Carolina, which equally reflects his mission and
our belief that death and beauty go hand in hand to create lasting memories.
Isaiah Owens’ passion and dedication has drawn the attention of
portrait artist Elizabeth Heyert, whose works are part of the permanent
collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Together, they are working
to create a collection of portraits of the deceased that captures Isaiah’s
panache and sense of style.
So much of life is spent planning for education, a career, a family. You
may wish to learn about one more very considerate way to plan for your
loved ones, through our pre-arranged funeral service program. Pre-planning
a funeral eases your family’s burden during a difficult time and
give you time to recall, organize and contemplate your thoughts and wishes.
Pre-planning also lets you lock in today’s prices and avoid future
price increases. Fore free information on pre-planning, please contact
us (link to contact us page).
